I noticed a couple of your Cubbies moved here to Oakland. I forget where they stuck Karros. He PH today. We needed Miller to replace Hernandez behind the plate.

Besides our pitching staff, I only recognize about 4 positition players from last year's roster. At least they kept Chavez. That'll bring the cute girls out to the park.

nope not really, I'm glad as hell that they have done what they have but thats about it so far....plus I haven't really been into Baseball since oh..5th or 6th grade. It could very well take some time to get back to that, if ever.

Yeah I was watching that Tiger game yesterday... I am very impressed. I was disappointed int he late inning ballgame last night between Red Sox and Orioles... the friggin pitcher walked four guys in a row allowing the Orioles to walk in a winning run... like jeez, I need to see a home run.

ah well maybe this late inning game between Cubs and Braves will have a better ending.

Has Barry Bonds hit 660 yet?

and what a great game between the cubs and braves last night... 2-1 after 15 innings! ahhh.... much better than walking the bases loaded and then walking the winning run in is a sacrifice fly to the right field with a man on first and third but instead of throwing it home throwing it to second to get that runner out with only one out making it two. beautiful game. all i was missing was a pretzel and a beer...

I wouldn't expect Barry to top any records this season. His connection here in the Bay Area is still under investigation.

Well, I don't think he's beaten Hank Aaron yet, but he was only one homer away, so I would think he should beat that. Plus won't it take some time for that stuff to work it's way out of his system? I mean, if he did take it, of course.

Good question. I've never researched steroid abuse. I shouldn't pick on Barry just because I don't like him. There were a number of Raiders getting theirs from the same place.
